Damilola earned her first degree in English Language from Lagos State University before proceeding to the University of Buckingham in the United Kingdom where she graduated with a Second Class (Upper Division) degree in Law. Further to being called to the Nigerian Bar, Damilola’s quest for more knowledge of the Law took her to the University of Manchester where she graduated magna cum laude with a Masters degree in International Business and Commercial Law.
Damilola brings an exceptionally strong commercial and business perspectives to her legal advice, having gained substantial experience in the law firms of O.A. Akomolafe & Associates (as an Intern) as well as Felix Akinnisola-Olubodun & Co. Legal Practitioners (as an Extern). The Lagos legal firm, First Legal Service, from where she joined Harlem Solicitors, was also integral in cultivating her legal career.
Quick of wit, Damilola enjoys tremendous rapport with our clients, friends and even opposing lawyers, having brought to HARLEM a high level of professionalism and an enormous capacity for excellent interpersonal relationship. While her practice in HARLEM is ultimately driven by client needs, Damilola is the team’s main point of contact on Immigration, Regulatory & Compliance Issues, General & Civil Mediation, Business & Commercial matters as well as Governmental affairs.
