Sophia Kolawole, LL.B, B.L

Associate

  • Member, Nigerian Bar Association (NBA)

Sophia graduated from Igbinedion University, Okada in Edo State in 2014 and was duly called to the Nigerian Bar. She cut her teeth on the profession at Urban & Rural Health Awareness Initiative in Jos as the Program Officer before proceeding to Aina, Aina & Co. and Kunle Shittu & Co.

Under Sophia’s supervision, HARLEM is presently appointed as due diligence Solicitors, working in tandem and closely with the legal department of two reputable pharmaceutical companies. Little wonder our Clients describe her as a ‘cosmopolitan’ in her areas of practice; while we describe her as an assiduous problem-solver and a stupendous asset to the team’s ability to deliver cutting-edge legal research and qualitative services efficiently.

A remarkably protean thinker, Sophia recommends herself to our clients and staff in one key respect: she possesses strong values, keen determination and razor-sharp sense of right and wrong and knows the value of having a lawyer who communicates with her clients and understands their immediate concerns. She has also been inextricably involved in the resolution of numerous complex regulatory matters, while taking the lead in legal research and compliance issues.

During her personal time, ‘Sophie’ (as she is fondly called) enjoys reading, discussing and watching TV.
